This place is just great. My mother-in-law got a shampoo/set and my 12 year old son got his hair cut. Melat did a fantastic job; listened carefully and was so friendly. The salon is comfortable, clean and in a great neighborhood for shopping and dining. Right near the bus/MAX line, too.

This is my third time bringing my daughter to Melat's Salon. We were nervous about trying a new stylist but since it was summer we decided to give it a try. My daughter is eleven and has mixed hair. She had been wearing twists for approximately two years. Since we were going to be travelling and my daughter was going to be doing a bunch of swimming braids seemed like the better option. Melat is very kind and gentle with my daughter. She also works very quickly. My daughter and I have been pleased with the overall results. I would highly recommend Melat's services.
